Very sad.
Rodney Harrison's career is probably over. He tore his quadriceps Monday night in Denver and is out for the season. Rodney was one of my favorite Patriots. He played with joy and passion, you could tell the guy left it all on the field and just loved what he was doing. He had great talent without the great ego; he had the kind of swagger on the field you want to see in your defense but he was never an ass about it.
I'll miss him. It reminds me that in a couple of years we'll be faced with a Pat's D without the verteran leaders: Bruschi, Seymour ...
Who will step up next week? I want to see good things from some of our younger players. I want us to keep a dominating defense but I haven't heard a lot of new names called. I guess we'll see.

Rodney Harrison was one of the biggest cheap shot artists in the history of pro football. He made a living off of illegal helmet to helmet hits, cut blocking, and horse collaring.Just saying.

all that may be true, but you loved him on your team!
Paul "Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it... All that matters is that today, two stood against many. Valor pleases you, so grant me this one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, the HELL with you!"
